Hellooooo everyone! Hope you are having a great start to yet another month! I finally managed to scrap a little bit after our holidays. Gold Coast was AWE-oh-oh-SOME! Besides spending a day at Sea World, wet and miserable, the other 3 days was great! The rollercoaster was not too bad and my favourite is The Buzz-Saw @ DreamWorld. I went on 3 times.. yes, three! There wasn't much crowd that day and one of my friend went SIX times! :D I surely come again, especially when the kids are older and can go on the rides with us.
Anyhooo... here is a layout I did on Sunday.. inspired by Twisted Sketches #141 with a twist of Leap. So I chose these pictures of us... jumping! :D Also joining Scrapbookers Anonymous stickers challenge. I felt a bit rusty when I stopped scrapping for a while; spending almost half a day thinking about the layout instead of making them! Hope you like it..
Enjoy your week! Thanks for visiting!

Pixielicious
TGIF! I was working quite hard this week, taking advantage of the quiet office. So now I am so glad weekend is here :)
This next layout is the first one I did in 20Dozen. Another one of my darling daughter, with pics from our snow trip last winter. Love love this paper kit from Cosmo Cricket Pixielicious collection that I took the name as the title!
I am inspired by Scrap Whispers color challenge. Love the color combo, so Zara! It's PINK, purple and orange. Nice, right? I used Twisted Sketch #132 for this layout.
Have a great weekend!

Don't Stop Believing!
Hey again scrappy friends! Tired of me yet? I hope not, as I want to share another layout I did last weekend... It was based on Twisted Sketches #103, with the twist of "Stop". Well, the first thing that came to mind is "Don't Stop Believing!", for the obvious reason ;) he he..
Another layout of Zareef... Yes Zareef, just don't stop believing! :)) {Gosh, I hope that I don't sound too cheesy.. he he}
Looking forward to a scrap session with Lynda this Sunday.. :)) And oh, don't forget you still have a few more days for a chance to win this blog candy:
Tomorrow is Friday Friday.. Fun Fun Fun Fun!! Looking forward to the weekend!!! Hahaha

Dream BIG!
Hello everyone!!! Sorry I have been quiet lately, but 3 trips to Perth in a month is taking a lot of my time! Alas, tomorrow I am off to Perth again! I am sure Perth is a nice city, but I haven't got much chance to see outside the city center, where I am stuck in meetings the whole day...
Anyway, before I am off again, I want to share this layout I did within mere hours of daylight left. Sorry for the poor quality photos as it was dark by the time I was done. This layout is inspired by Scrapping The Music "Dream Big" challenge. I used Twisted Sketches #102 for this one, with "play" as the added twist.
Love these pictures of Zareef just having fun in front of the camera.. seems that he can do anything (which he does.. hehe). Just celebrate life, Dream & Play BIG! I used Nook April kit for this... :)) Always loved how the kit matched Zareef very well...
Thanks for visiting.. Have a great week ahead!

Bike Ride
Oh crap, Easter holiday is over!!!!! I have to drag myself back to work tomorrow.. boohoo.. Anyway, it was a nice break, we enjoyed our road trip and feel refreshed!
I managed to complete a couple of layouts after our road trip. The first one is a layout inspired by Get Picky April Inspiration Challenge #7, which is a color combo and photo challenge. The colors are light blue, yellow and white.. interesting colors! :) And the photo has a banner similar to my last name! 'YUSUF'. Coincidence? heheh...
I used Twisted Sketches #98 for this layout, with a paint twist this time. For this layout, I used a blank white cardstock, which is quite rare for me. But I wanted to generate my own background using Lemonade Mister Huey. I stayed true with the color pallette, and keep the layout really simple.
Love how this turned out.. bright and cheery, perfect for these picture of Zareef riding his bike. He's starting to learn to ride without his support wheels. Now he can ride for about 5 seconds on his own! Ok, need more practice but he's getting there.. :)))
I am using Scrapbook Circle April kit for this one. Love the cheerful colors!
Love this twine that came with the kit... and love misting like crazy! :))

For my mama...
Hello everyone. Today is an exciting day.... I am officially on holiday.. Super Dee Duper!!!!! I want to share another layout, this one is especially for my mom.. I feel guilty as I haven't scrapped much of her.. :) Here she looked very blissful within the wild flowers, hence the title. Yes, she really really likes flowers. I am so grateful she's around now, makes our life so much easier for sure!
This layout is inspired by The The Lollipop Ladies Easter Egg challenge. Yeayyy for Easter & the holiday!! I am inspired again by the bright purple & blue colors, and also the sparkles too. These BG and Kaiserkraft papers are just puurfect. I am back to fussy cutting and lots of layering again. I love how the layers turned out :))))
This layout used Twisted Sketches #96, with the twist of "card". I used a journaling card in this one.
Combination of Prima flowers and cutouts... took a long time cutting and arranging until I got it right. Have to say it was tedious but fun!
Added some sparkly butterflies...
Have a great Easter ahead for those that celebrate!

My Boy of Wonders
Horray horray weekend is here... And don't you love first day of the month? Lots of new & fresh scrappy challenges out. So, here's the first one for ARTastic April inspiration, which came from Debbie Adam's Autumn Wonder painting. The bonus criteria this time is to include clouds, tree and use autumn colors.
Yes, autumn is here! I am so used of using fall instead of autumn, so it's a bit arkward saying autumn!! :)) In this layout I used Basic Grey Indian Summer PP that I had a long long time ago. The rich and gorgeous color made it hard for me to incorporate in layouts before but in this one, it is just perfect!
This layout is based on Twisted Sketches #94, with a Glitter twist this time. I doodled some stickles around the layout... see if you can spot them ;) And I just love this picture, Zareef looks so cute! This is picture of us laying around at Port Arthur Heritage site.. awesome!
Yes, he never stops.. just full of wonders!
Again, I am using more Kaiserkraft wooden flourish. They are always so gorgeous, always can't resist buying more of them. I think I need to restock now ;) Notice I added some stickles to the leaves, so it will mimic autumn leaves.
Butterflies always added life to the layout, don't you think? :)

You & Me
Happy mid week everyone! 4 more days before hubby coming home, yeayyy!!!! Here is another layout I would like to share, this time inspired by Twisted Sketches #93. The twist this time is swirl...It also fits Scrap Whispers Girlie Girl challenge #95. Here I scrap a picture of me with my lovely daughter, Zara down near a secluded Tassie beach.
I am using Scrapbook Nook Feb kit again. These Webster's Pages are just gorgeous, so I tried to keep the layout simple again. Lots of pretty embellies in this one, and kinda happy how sweet the layout turned out to be :)))
Always love love Prima flowers.. they make anything looks pretty! Like how these roses matches the flowers in the PP
Another favorite of mine.. Kaiserkraft wooden flourish... Love them!
Used lots of laces.. pinched them a bit to create texture.. Love the Kaiserkraft crouchet doilies too!! So many pretty things, right?
Thanks for visiting!!!! :)))) Your comments mean a lot to me!!

Top of the World
Hello Hello!! Hope you like my new look ;) It seems like a while since I update my blog. I was busy relaxing down the Great Ocean Road last long weekend. It was really beautiful indeed.. the limestone cliffs are magnificent!! Although I have to say that the beaches can't compare to Tassie East Cost :))))
I want to share one of the layout I did this weekend. It was a lovely warm weekend, and I did get to do lots of scrapping.. yeay! This layout is for From Screen 2 Scrap March challenge. This month poster inspiration is from the movie 'Vertigo'. The bonus criteria includes an orange background, a black silhouette figure and Spirograph or spiral shapes in the layout.
I knew the exact picture to scrap for this, which is a great shot of hubby jumping at one of Tasmania's gorgeous beaches. I have to say this weekend is me getting out of my comfort zone, where I used embelies and techniques I won't normally used... such as brads, stamping and rub-ons. I rarely used rub-ons in layouts but I forgot how beautiful they are if applied with the right design :)))
This layout used Twisted Sketches #92, but I rotate it so that it will fit with the picture. The twist is time is brads (Yikes!) Overall, I like how this turned out but I still think there are something missing. I don't know what, but not 100% happy with it.. :)) But hope you like it nevertheless...
Some star brads I used in this layout.. think they compliment the layout nicely..
Got a bit messy this weekend with some misting and stamping..
Till next time.. have a great week ahead..
