Touching Moments

Oh wow.. another long hiatus that I'm starting to think that my mojo is leaving me already. Busy busy busy (and lazy)!! I tried my luck today.. and here's what I come up with. I think Mr Mojo is gone cause this layout looks like a mess!

I joined Once Upon a Sketch CSI#4 September challenge. Quite fun combo of colors and rules and sketch! I also joined Bird is the Word "Touch" challenge.

Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures. Hubby is away and he brings the good camera with him! So I have to use my iPhone instead :(

Have a nice week ahead and thanks for visiting!

Freedom

Weekend is here! Yeay!! Looking forward to watch a musical tomorrow :) I did this layout yesterday when I was baby-sitting sick Zareef for another day. It is inspired by Scrapping the Music "Freedom" challenge. I used some of the lyrics as the journaling, it is quite inspiring and kind of my words to Zara.

I also joined ScrapFIT Step Class #6 "The Negative Zone" challenge. I stamped out a couple of butterfly in the papers to get some negative zone effect. It wasn't that easy as if you messed up, there's no second chance! But it is a great way to use punchers, will keep this technique in mind for future :) I used Sketchabilities Sketch #74 for this layout. I strayed away from layering and keep it clean and simple for once :)

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting!

Colorful You

Hello everyone!!! It has been a while, isn't it?!!!! Finally after over a month hiatus, I created a layout last Sunday. Hope this will end my dry spell. Besides being busy with kids and housework, I was feeling super lazy too. People would think winter is the perfect time to scrap, but for me, winter means snuggling under blankets while watching movies!

Anyway, here is the layout I did. It was inspired Bird by the Word 'Color' challenge. (Oh, I found out I won BITW 'Look/See' challenge too!) I also joined ScrapFit Workout #70, which is to develop our own polaroid pictures. The sketch is from Sketchabilities Sketch #73.

This Echo Park papers are just gorgeous!!!!!!!! Have a great week ahead!!

Also joining ScrapFIT Workout #67, which is to scrap with doilies.. one of my favourites! I used Sketchabilities Sketch #70 for this one... I can see you!

Happy Sunday, everyone! Today I had a fun and productive day with my mate Lynda. We had a crop party at her house. Yes only two of us and Zara but it was still a party! I managed to create a couple of layout and Lynda was always a great host :)

One of the layout is inspired by Bird is the Word "Look/See" challenge. I love this picture of Zara, so cute! Again, thanks to my hubby for the excellent photos. Don't forget to hop on his photo blog @ Zu Photo. I joined Stuck? April 15th sketch, which is perfect for the photo and this beautiful My Mind's Eye paper. The paper is really beautiful as it is, so I didn't have to do much!

I almost forgot, I am honored to be featured at as Warm-Up FITgirl Spotlight over at ScrapFIT. Thanks for having me there! Hop over if you want to see more about silly ol me.. :) Thanks again for visiting.. Tomorrow is a brand new week.. have a great one!

Make A Wish

Happy Anzac Day! Honestly I don't know much on what the day means, besides that it's a public holiday. My kids are educating us on what it means. Any Aussies out there that can educate me further, please feel free to do so... :)

SO, I spent the whole free day relaxing at home. Well, we did come cleaning the house in the morning. One good thing I just found out is that Zareef actually enjoyed mopping the floor!!! He mopped the whole house today. Great job, Zareef! ;)

I got a lot of comments complimenting the photos that I used to scrap. I can't take the credits because those awesome pictures are taken by my hubby. He picked up photography about 2 years ago, so that I can have cool and nice pictures to scrap. He just started a photo blog, Zu Photos. Please drop by if you like the photos that I scrapped ;) He improved a lot and the photos he took are getting better by day.. not to mention his lense collection.. LOL

I managed to whip a layout out today. It is inspired by From Screen 2 Scrap Ever After challenge. The criteria is to use bling, fairy tale title and journaling. I chose these pictures of Zara's birthday cupcakes that I made for her 4th birthday. She is totally 100% princess, and I just wish her the best in life :) I used Let's Capture These Sketches Sketch #129 for this one. It is just perfect for the layout..

It's great to have a mid-week break, only now I feel like it's Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday! Thanks so much for visiting.. :)

Such a Charmer

Hello everyone! I feel like I've abandoned the site for a long time. Since the kids started ballet and soccer, our Saturday mornings are busy. With housework, laundry, ironing, yadda yadda.. I barely have time to scrap. SO, I am SO glad that it is now school holiday here in Victoria!!! Hip, Hip, Hooray!!! Usually I don't like school holiday as everywhere will be crowded, but now it means free weekends!!! And 5 (yes, 5 for us!!!) days weekend is coming up in Friday.

OK, I am already looking forward for Easter Friday. Plus, I managed to whipped this layout out. It is inspired by Bird is The Word Charm challenge. I used Let's Capture the Sketches Sketch #126 for this layout. Here are pictures of Zara being a charmer at Brighton Beach :) Hope you enjoy it!

Have a great week ahead.. Look out for a GD reveal from me soon! ;) And oh, this layout won Get Picky inspiration challenge.. Thanks, guys!

Drama Queen

Hello everyone! What a lovely long weekend we had here in Melbourne. It is Labor Day weekend and the weather was perfect :) We went to the Moomba Festival.. a free carnival by the Yarra and watched How to Train your Dragon show. It was awesome! The dragons looks real and the effects are stunning! Zareef especially, had lots of fun. Zara on the other hand, couldn't be bothered and slept halfway through it. Haha!

Anyway, here's one layout I did yesterday. I am joining Get Picky inspiration challenge. It was a nice girly pictures with pink, yellow and white niceties. I can't resist this one! I scrap this picture of Zara sooking.. And if you know Zara, the title is very fitting :D I use a gorgeous sketch from Sketchabilities for this one. I love how this one turned out :)

Gonna be a really short week.. with a short Perth trip and one day training.. I'll barely have any work done this week! Thanks for visiting :)

Adore

Hello peeps! We just got back from New Zealand and it was awesome!!! WuuuHuuu... We only went to the North Island, but we enjoyed every moment of it! So here is a layout I did today, after we settled back to normal routine, and the house is back from its chaotic form right after the trip.

The layout is inspired by Scrap The Girls January monotone challenge. I used yellow/gold for this one, even the photo is already in sephia. Perfect! It's very simple one, I finished it in under an hour.. The papers are just so pretty already, so I keep the layout very simple.

Anybody watching Nadal vs Djokovic now? Go Nadal! :D

Have a great week ahead :)

Pixielicious

TGIF! I was working quite hard this week, taking advantage of the quiet office. So now I am so glad weekend is here :)

This next layout is the first one I did in 20Dozen. Another one of my darling daughter, with pics from our snow trip last winter. Love love this paper kit from Cosmo Cricket Pixielicious collection that I took the name as the title!

I am inspired by Scrap Whispers color challenge. Love the color combo, so Zara! It's PINK, purple and orange. Nice, right? I used Twisted Sketch #132 for this layout.

Have a great weekend!
