I'm back! Wanna share my layout I did a while ago for Sketchabilities #48. Here is a layout of my Zareef.. just love this candid shot of him deep in thoughts or just daydreaming... I have to say I am blessed with great pictures taken by my hubby (Thanks dear, I know you're reading this.. :)))) Lately I've been scrapping a lot of layouts of advices and hope for Zareef.. here's another one..
For this sketch, a user prompted the DT to use buttons in a boyish layout.. I string the buttons together and "hung" them as banners.. kind of like how it looked..
I wish for Zareef to be himself and be strong and never fear.. Hope he will grow up to become a wonderful boy.
Thanks again for visiting.. your sweet comments meant so much to me!

My Family Together
Monday is almost over and what a gorgeous day it was after a gloomy Sunday! :))) I want to share a super simple layout I did yesterday... It was based on Creative Scrappers Sketch #157. Just love this photo of us chillaxing in Tassie. Even though it's super simple, I kinda like how it turned out... plus it was quick to put together! :))) I used Cosmo Cricket Togetherness kit for this one.. Super cute kit!
Thanks for visiting.. hope you all have a great week ahead!

Not Alone
Happy Sunday, peeps!!!! Aren't we glad it's Sunday? Today is my scrapping day, but before I got into that I want to share a layout I did last week. I've been busy travelling so I didn't have chance to upload this. This is a very simple layout, using minimal PP. Those flowers are so pretty that it doesn't need a lot of "distraction" :)
Can I say that I just adore this picture of me and Zara! For those who are close to me know that I am obsessed over Darren Criss (Glee). So this layout is based on his own song "Not Alone". It's a great song, deep in meanings and of course, so scrappable too :))))) I want to convey this to my little Zara too.. Enjoy!
Lovely Prima flowers... <3 them!
Sing along... the chorus in the journaling.. :))

Dream BIG!
Hello everyone!!! Sorry I have been quiet lately, but 3 trips to Perth in a month is taking a lot of my time! Alas, tomorrow I am off to Perth again! I am sure Perth is a nice city, but I haven't got much chance to see outside the city center, where I am stuck in meetings the whole day...
Anyway, before I am off again, I want to share this layout I did within mere hours of daylight left. Sorry for the poor quality photos as it was dark by the time I was done. This layout is inspired by Scrapping The Music "Dream Big" challenge. I used Twisted Sketches #102 for this one, with "play" as the added twist.
Love these pictures of Zareef just having fun in front of the camera.. seems that he can do anything (which he does.. hehe). Just celebrate life, Dream & Play BIG! I used Nook April kit for this... :)) Always loved how the kit matched Zareef very well...
Thanks for visiting.. Have a great week ahead!

I know the other half of the world is celebrating spring, but down under winter is only starting..But I'm already thinking (and dreaming) of spring! So here is me reminiscencing our spring trip to The Tulip Festival last October..
I used Nook May kit for this one.. I love love this kit!!!! I did not only made one, but 2 layouts out of this kit yesterday.. the pastel colors PP are just gorgeous!! For this one, I cut the flowers and did some flowers arranging.. Love how it turned out.. Hope you all like it too!

{IBU}
Hello everyone! How's your week so far? It's freezing cold here down in Melbourne!! Brrrr... Anyway, here's another layout I want to share with you all.. A simple one I whipped out quickly last Sunday. This layout was inspired by multiple challenges..
The first one is by Scrap The Girls May challenge, which is to scrap a layout based on an important lady in your life with extra criteria of more than 20 words of handwritten journaling. Since Mother's Day has just passed, so I scrapped about my mama.. She was happy in this pic as she was excited to get a picture with birds flying in the background.
Another inspiration comes from From Screen 2 Scrap 'Love Actually' challenge. For this challenge, we need to include a red bow, a journaling note and name the person in the picture (which is my mama). I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers #154. This is a great sketch, very unique! Also joined The Creative Type challenge, which to play with foreign phrases. So naturally, I used Ibu, which means mother in Malay!
Fuh, I didn't realized that I did 4 challenges in one go!! LOL!! The layout is quite simple, used mostly Bo Bunny chipboards... this is really different as I only used one PP, which is the background! :)
The journaling is actually from BoyzIIMen Song For Mama... I am good with words so I borrow some! :)

Happy Mother's Day!
How is your Mother's Day going? I woke up to pressies from the kids and hubby cooking breakfast! Very sweet... :))
Here is my attempt of making card.... Don't think I am a good cardmaker but I like how this turned out... especially for my mama... thank you so much for all you've done for us.. words can't describe how grateful we feel..
I haven't got much time to scrap lately... just so many other things to do! Plus, with shorter daylight, it's getting harder to scrap too. I need to get a study lamp for my dim room!
Until next time.. have a great wonderful day today!

Little Miss Sunshine
Hey, Monday! How are you recovering from the long holiday? 11 days of holidays for me... YEAY!! Longest ever since I started work here!! Yes, Malaysia too... 3 days weekend, right? For me, it was a hectic Monday, so much going on in the office. Plus, I am heading to Perth tomorrow.. again! Oh well, at least it's going to be warmer there! :))
Another layout to share.. this layout is the pair to the layout "Bike Ride" I shared yesterday. Yet another color combo challenge with almost similar colors, with matching pictures of Zara on the bikes :)) Hehe.. The challenge comes from Butterfly Crafts April challenge, which to use light blue, pink and yellow.
This layout is also inspired by Once Upon A Sketch May 1st challenge, where the journaling criteria is to write on a journaling spot. I used a journaling card from PP for this. I love this sketch!! I used combination of Nook and Scrapbook Circle kits for this one.. :)
Lovin my new Martha Stewart punches.. heheh.. another shopping therapy.. so addictive!
The journaling.. Zara learning to pedal! Go Girl!
Love those yellow flowers! :)
Thanks for visiting!

Bike Ride
Oh crap, Easter holiday is over!!!!! I have to drag myself back to work tomorrow.. boohoo.. Anyway, it was a nice break, we enjoyed our road trip and feel refreshed!
I managed to complete a couple of layouts after our road trip. The first one is a layout inspired by Get Picky April Inspiration Challenge #7, which is a color combo and photo challenge. The colors are light blue, yellow and white.. interesting colors! :) And the photo has a banner similar to my last name! 'YUSUF'. Coincidence? heheh...
I used Twisted Sketches #98 for this layout, with a paint twist this time. For this layout, I used a blank white cardstock, which is quite rare for me. But I wanted to generate my own background using Lemonade Mister Huey. I stayed true with the color pallette, and keep the layout really simple.
Love how this turned out.. bright and cheery, perfect for these picture of Zareef riding his bike. He's starting to learn to ride without his support wheels. Now he can ride for about 5 seconds on his own! Ok, need more practice but he's getting there.. :)))
I am using Scrapbook Circle April kit for this one. Love the cheerful colors!
Love this twine that came with the kit... and love misting like crazy! :))

Sketchabilities #46 - My Sweetie Pie
Hello everyone!! We had a blast in Sydney! We had lots of showers but we savored every bit of sunshine we had!! :)))) We skipped an extra day in Blue Mountains though, as the weather turned sour upon us. I <3 Sydney!! We'll surely visit again! But no more road trips, it was a LONG LONG drive!!
Now is the time for the 2nd sketch for Sketchabilities! Hooray!!! Here are some pictures of my little Zara chillin' at our backyard. She looks really lovely in these pics, like a sweetie pie :)))) I used BG Curio papers again... I have to say again that the colors are just rich and gorgeous.
This bird stickers are too cute!
Of course, more bling-bling!
Some fussy cutting and layering.. love those flowers!
Do come over and join in the fun!!!... :) Thanks for visiting!!!
