Touching Moments

Oh wow.. another long hiatus that I'm starting to think that my mojo is leaving me already. Busy busy busy (and lazy)!! I tried my luck today.. and here's what I come up with. I think Mr Mojo is gone cause this layout looks like a mess!

I joined Once Upon a Sketch CSI#4 September challenge. Quite fun combo of colors and rules and sketch! I also joined Bird is the Word "Touch" challenge.

Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures. Hubby is away and he brings the good camera with him! So I have to use my iPhone instead :(

Have a nice week ahead and thanks for visiting!

I am... Styyyle!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend :) I went to see the monster queen herself, Lady Gaga last night and it was crazily awesome!! I have newly found respect for her, and she is really inspirational. We had an awesome time!! Gaga Oh La La!!

I did another layout on Sunday (Yeay!) It was inspired by Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday circles challenge, which goes well with the July 1st Stuck? Sketch. Really, it's July already???? Where did half of the year gone?

This picture just reminded me of how Zareef always go around and saying "Styyylee", and walks around with gusto and style. Yeap, that's my Zareef! LOL!

Feeling Groovy

Hello peeps! I am SO sleepy that I can sleep now, but it's only 7pm! Plus it was freezin this morning. Winter is really here! I forget how cold it can be here..

Anyways, here is another layout I did at Lynda's house. We are doing the same Scrap it With a Song "Feeling Groovy" challenge. Check out her version, it is very very fun! Here I scrap this awesome photo of Zareef with his groove all out :) The background papers are really unique and pretty, although I had a hard time trying to layer other papers with it. In the end, the paper needs to stand on its own, and Creative Scrappers Sketch #205 is perfect for this layout!

Have a great week ahead and thank you SO SO much for visiting!

Adele fever

How's your Monday so far? It was a s***ty Monday for me. Things didn't seem to work well in the office that I feel like I want to throw the PC out of the window! One of the days, huh?

ANYWAYS, here is a simple layout I created inspired by Scrapping the Music challenge. It is Adele fever! I watched her concert at Royal Albert Hall (only in TV unfortunately) and WOW what a voice and performer! I almost cried during Someone Like You... Watching her singing full of emotions and tears during the song was just so moving..

I just love all her songs! I can literally listen to her songs the whole day. This is a favorite too, can you guess already? It's Rolling in the Deep.. this song is full of energy and anger. These pictures of Zareef seems fitting for the lyrics I chose, don't you think?

The layout honored ScrapFIT Workout #66 inspiration photo & colors. The colors are sand, mint and cherry. Interesting combo! I used Sketchabilities Sketch #69 for this layout.

Thanks so much for visiting.. All your comments are always appreciated :)

Don't mess with me!

Happy Easter, everyone! We are blissfully enjoying our long weekend :)  Hope you are enjoying your holidays as well...

Here is a layout I did yesterday, inspired by ScrapFIT Workout #65 challenge. The photo inspiration is very masculine, and I immediately know that I have to scrap this picture. At first, Zareef's look just shout "Don't mess with me!" but after I added the mustache, he looks funny and the title is like a joke now. Haha.. Doesn't matter, Zareef really likes the mustache on his face :D

I used Creative Scrappers Sketch #202 for this layout..

It's a bit sad that a lot of challenge blogs I've been following are closing down soon; Get Picky, Scrapbookers Anonymous, Twisted Sketches.. I need to find more blogs to follow! Let me know if there are any good challenge blogs out there, will ya? :)

Happy Easter Sunday everyone, :))))

Waves

I am too tired to write much.. Zumba kinda killed me tonight.. (I'm getting old!)

Anyway, this layout is made for From Screen 2 Scrap. They have The Day After Tomorrow movie poster as inspiration. Kind of crappy movie (in my opinion) but the poster is nice. We have to do a monotone white with a touch of blue, one photo and white title. I used Let's Capture These Sketches sketch for this one.

A simple one.. I'm beginning to love painting in layouts.. expect to see more! :)

Off to Perth tomorrow...  Thanks for visitin'!!

Oh Boy!

Happy Monday, peeps! It's a lovely day in Melbourne, cool down a bit after the storm yesterday. Here's another layout I did this weekend. This time it's inspired by Once Upon A Sketch challenge. The challenge is about suprise suprise... LOVE. We need to scrap & journal about a male that we love.

So, I scrap this intriguing picture of my son. He is certainly a boy with his own bright mind that drives me crazy most of the time. But he is a smart boy, and I just hope he will reach for the stars, but stay grounded all the time. That's part of my journalling.

I also joined in Frosted Designs ribbons and/or twine challenge. I used both in this layout.. see if you can spot them.

I am happy to know that I got 3rd place in Scrap The Girls January challenge for this layout! I always join their challenge but I NEVER win so this makes my day :)

Thanks again for visiting, ladies!!!

Swim Time

I am really glad it cool down a bit today. It was 40C for two days a couple of days ago! I am happy to be in the 20s :) Another layout today.. it's from Sketchabilities Sketch #62. Zareef and Zara enjoy their swim class, although sometimes it's hard to get them to go to class at first. Here are some pics of Zareef swimming.. He's doing quite well, a lot of progress within a year.

Is it only Wednesday? weekend come faster, please!

Snow Play

In the spirit of Chrismas, I created a layout with Christmas theme.Well, at least I tried too! I have to use the Nook's Christmas kit after all, right? These winter pictures are half a year late, but the kit is perfect for these pictures. Here are some pictures of Zareef playing with snow at Lake Mountain, VIC. Fun fun day, it was actually his birthday! :) I use Sketchabilities Sketch for this one, and what a fun and unique sketch! I had fun doing this a lot!

So, what's your plan for New Year's Eve? Hope you have something fun planned ;) Thanks for visiting!

Wonder Kids!

Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you had a great Christmas and holidays. I still can't get use of Christmas in summer! It's just not.. Christmassy enough if you get what I mean. Plus, there are barely any decorations around the city.. it's weird! Anyway, I had a lovely Christmas. We don't really celebrate Christmas but our lovely neighbors are kind enough to invite us to share their Christmas lunch.

I am enjoying my day offs at home with the kids. This is my first ever break, staying home doing nothing! haha.. So after all the chaos of Christmas, I finally get to catch up on my scrapping. I am barely keeping up with the kits that keep arriving! haha

This layout is inspired by Bird is the Word 'Wonder' challenge. Here is a picture of me and the kids, being silly during my birthday night. They are really really cheeky in front of cameras! I used Stuck On U Sketches for this layout.

Thanks for visiting! Hope you have a fabulous New Year!

Tarzan Fun!

Heyyaaa! I am still tired from my longgg day trip to Brisbane yesterday. I didn't get to see much of Brisbane as I was stucked in a core warehouse the whole day. But looking at real rocks for a change was totally worth the trip!

This layout was completed a few weeks ago and I have forgotten which sketch I used for this one.. *sorry* Here is a picture of Zareef with his preppy buddies during their Cabaret performance this  year. They did George of the Jungle, and they were so cute. On a second thought, Zareef is really totally exactly like George!!! Without a doubt.. ha ha

Thanks again for visiting ladies! Ta!
