This layout is also inspired by Are You Feeling Groovie February challenge. The groovie challenge this month is celebrating spring, with lots of flowers, birds and butterflies. You also have to use pink (my fav!) & yellow in your layouts. This is a new combination, but I think everything is nice next to pink! Haha.. I love how this turned out. The Crate Paper bright pink background is really awesome, like screaming spring at you! The tiara, fairy and pink mask on Zara are from a recent Scrap the Girls fairy tale swap. Aren't they lovely?? TFL!!

The ever lovely (and silly) Zara
Greetings everyone! Here is a girly layout of our Zara. It is based on an interesting string of challenges from Lets Capture These Sketches. They are having challenges based on Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. How interesting is that? I choose the Dopey challenge, which is to create a layout using their sketch that is silly or funny. So I scrapped these pictures of Zara making silly faces. She always like to make cute faces, especially after being scolded. Nobody can stay angry with these cute faces! Well, sometimes I can! :)

The long weekend is almost over.. :( But I would like to wish my Hindu friends Happy Diwali, may you have a festive Diwali. I managed to create a few layouts over the busy weekend; a weekend full of more open houses. Tomorrow is the last day of Syawal, so that's the end of open houses!
This layout of me is for Are You Feeling Groovie? October challenge. The challenge is to create a monochromatic layout. If possible, create a layout about oneself using the color that best describe oneself. For me, no doubt my color is pink! Plus, these papers from Basic Grey Porcelain collection are just gorgeous!! And of course, they are pink (with hint of green).
This layout is inspired by Twisted Sketches #19. The twist this week is to use any ink, where I used distressed ink over the edge of my papers. I am not sure about the title for this layout, but the Porcelain stickers have this cute "Tweet" title and decided to use it as my title and think that it matches great with my layout.
Thanks for Looking!

Scrap-It-Lah Simple challenge
At Scrap-it-Lah this October, we have a Simple challenge. The challenge is really simple, we are to include the word "Simple" in our layouts. I scrapped this cute picture of my babies sleeping in the car. It was funny to see them slanting dreamily in unison, aren't they just adorable? They looked so peaceful, so worry-free.... As a kid, life is so simple. That is my theme for this layout. These My Little Shoebox papers are cute too, don't you think?
Come and join us at Scrap-It-Lah, yummy RAK awaits the winner!!!!

And oh, I won the September Groovie challenge! Yey! Thanks Aniza for picking my LO as the winner..

Sunshine of mine
Hi everyone! Here is another layout I did last night.. I am enjoying my 2 weeks holiday, because I can scrap every night!! Why so long of a holiday? Well, my maid went home for Raya, so I am temporarily a full-time-stay-at-home-mom. It is not as bad as I thought, and once I got past the housework and the tiredness, it is really rewarding to take care and spend time (a LOT of time) with your kids.

Here is my take..
This layout if for Are You Feeling Groovie September challenge. This challenge prompt us to scrap pictures that are at least 3 years old, like Aniza's layout of her son's first day. I also want to do the same, so I scrap this fresh-from-the-oven picture of Zareef. Plus, we have to inlude at least 3 chipboards. I got to use some chipboard stickers that are one of my first purchase many many months ago. This layout is inspired by Pencil Line Sketch #153. The simple sketch is perfect for the relatively busy background.
