Wild Ones

Hi everyone.. Weekend is ending.. :( We celebrated hubby's birthday on Saturday with a nice lunch and watched Disney on Ice (not his choice, just happened to fall on his birthday! LOL)

Anyway, I did a layout today. I totally abused the papers and tried to make it look a bit grunge to no success. I was inspired by Show Us Your Stuff July challenge, which is from a photo of an interesting typewriter. The paper I used matched the theme perfectly. I used PageMaps embellies sketch contest for this one (Check it out.. great prize!!)

I am also joining Scrap It With a Song "Wild Ones'. This picture is from our recent adventure to New Zealand, where we took the plunge into Lake Taupo. It was a crazily insane experience, one which I didn't regret at all!

Feeling Groovy

Hello peeps! I am SO sleepy that I can sleep now, but it's only 7pm! Plus it was freezin this morning. Winter is really here! I forget how cold it can be here..

Anyways, here is another layout I did at Lynda's house. We are doing the same Scrap it With a Song "Feeling Groovy" challenge. Check out her version, it is very very fun! Here I scrap this awesome photo of Zareef with his groove all out :) The background papers are really unique and pretty, although I had a hard time trying to layer other papers with it. In the end, the paper needs to stand on its own, and Creative Scrappers Sketch #205 is perfect for this layout!

Beautiful Day

Hey hey hey.. How's your Monday? The highlight of my day was when we danced through Glee's "We can't stop the beat" in Zumba today! Exactly like in the show, so that was fun :)

Here is another layout I want to share. Somehow this layout was inspired by multiple challenge. First being Frosted Designs 'Weather' challenge. Also for Scrap It With a Song "Beautiful Day" by U2.. Love that song.. :) These pictures are from our New Zealand trip at Pakiri Beach. The weather was picture perfect that evening and we had lots of fun with these shots :D

The colors of the layout were inspired by Challenge Me Happy poster challenge. Just love the bright pastel colors in the photos; and pink and turquoise are just perfect together. I also join ScrapFIT weekend warm-up #26 challenge, which is to scrap at least 4 photos. And lastly, I used Creative Scrappers Sketch #203 for inspiration ;)

Fun Fun Fun

Hello Hello! How is everyone doing? It is a lovely Monday for me as I got a new office with a view of Yarra River! I am so excited, at least I am not stucked in a cavern room all by myself. I will post a picture from my office soon.. :)

Here is a layout I did last weekend.. It's for Scrap It With A Song! This time we're listening to The Beach Boys' Fun Fun Fun. I chose this picture of us at Great Ocean Road that scream FUN! haha..  I used Stuck On Us Sketches for this layout. It is a really simple layout.. I am getting lazier and lazier.. haha! But hope you all like it...

Step by Step

Ramadhan is here! Salam Ramadhan to my friends and family.. :) May we all have a blessed Ramadhan.. I wanna share another layout I did, another one for Scrap It With A Song. We are going back in time again, this time with NKOTB! Man, I grew up listening to them.. I feel old now.. LOL! It's their best hit I think, Step by Step... very catchy, huh? and scrappable too :)

Love these pics of Zareef.. hubby done very well again.. He took almost 10 pics of Zareef running! :) And I really love this kit from Scrapbook Circle Blast Off.. Full of fun boyish theme stuffs! For this layout, I used Sketchy Thursday Sketch 7.2

Us holding hands

Monday must be the worst day of the week! I hate Mondays! I was stucked the whole day in reviews, bummer! Anyway, it's time for another Scrap It With A Song reveal. This time we are honoring the Legend King of Pop Michael Jackson. It's almost two years since his passing.. So we're celebrating with the song Remember The Time.. Such an amazing song!

I chose a line in the song 'Do you remember.. us holding hands'. It reminded me of this lovely photos of Zara holding both my husband and my hands. I think the photo deserved the center stage, so I kept the layout as simple as possible.

Hold Me Tight

I can't believe that Sunday is over! And it's the start of school holiday here! Oh well, here is another of Scrap It With A Song... The song this time is Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Another classic, as I barely remember this song.. he he.. There are a lot of beautiful lines from the song to scrap with, quite romantic really :) You barely realize what most songs are about unless you really look into the lyrics, right?

So here I scrapped a picture of us near Three Sisters at Blue Mountain, Sydney :) I used Nook May kit for this one and lots of Prima flowers, which I am using a lot lately!

On the other hand,  June had been nice to me as I won a few challenges!!! First off is Scrap-It-Lah challenge for All That I Need...


Now I found out that I won From Screen 2 Scrap UP challenge too!

Plus this Sweet Dollies layout here won My Fave Toys challenge AND Butterfly Crafts challenge too.. 

I am super excited!

I don't usually expect to win when I enter these challenges.. I just did them because they are fun and inspirational. But winning is like the icing on the cake :)

Oh My Gaga!!!

Yeapp... It's Gaga Time at Scrap It With A Song!!! This week we have Poker Face as our song. I found it difficult at first to scrap this. Who are we kidding, it's Lady Gaga!! I read the lyrics over and over again, and browsing my picture collections over and over again to find something that suit the song!! Family pictures are hardly sexy, I think! Haha

At last I settled on this one line from the song "Check this hand, cause I am marvellous" Ahhh I can work this one.. So here's a picture of my cool and marvellous hubby, with an awesome poker hand, don't you think? haha..

I toned down with the colors for this one (no bright colors this time!).. I used Kaiserkraft papers for this one.. love the soothing colors.. Overall love how this turned out.. yeah, after almost breaking my brain to figure this one :))))) Come and join us, I am sure you will have fun scrapping Lady Gaga!!!

The Time of My Life

Oh dear, it was cold, wet and windy today! Winter is really here I guess!! Here is my first entry as Scrap It With a Song Pop Gal... :)) This time we have a classic "Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing.. Don't you just love this song? I scrapped this picture of us at Port Arthur, Tasmania.. Lovin this jumping shot of us.. we did so to speak had the time of our life.. And using this Basic Grey collection again... lovin the bright colors!
