Beautiful Mini-Me

Hey hey hey.. Like a blink of an eye, before I realize it, I am back to work tomorrow! Bummer.. I'm so getting used to chillaxing at home and scrap scrap scrap! Oh well, at least it's a fresh new year.. it's gonna be a busy year for me in the office! One of my colleague just had her baby and I have to take over her job too. She'll be gone for at least 4 months!

Ok, enough complaining.. :) Here's a layout of me and my darling Zara. We had identical dresses for Eid last year. Doesn't she look like a mini of me? Except she's cuter, of course! I used Sketchy Thursdays Sketch for this particular one..

Ok - brace for tomorrow.. early in da mornin! ;)

Girly Girl!

Hello everyone! We had a busy, but great weekend. Even the kids were tired! :) Plus Zara has 3 "accidents" over the weekend! Oh well, hopefully she will not have them anymore soon!

I am glad I managed to whip this one out. I used Sketchy Thursdays Sketch 12.8 for this layout. This layout is inspired by Get Picky Challenge #14, where it focuses on the story, story, story!

Here are some pictures of Zara posing gleefully.. looking pretty and cute. She is really a girly girl; she just loves dressing up, looking cute and pretty. She has been picking her own clothes since she was 2!

Hope ya'all have a great week ahead.. Thanks so much for visiting! :)

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Hellooooooooooo Everyone! It seems like ages since I blogged and literally, scrapped! We were occupied with Eid Mubarak preparations and celebration. Plus, my brothers were here all the way from Malaysia, so spent weekends travelling around Victoria. Oh I missed scrapping.. and this weekend is nothing but staying at home and scrap... :)

So here is my layout to share.. It's inspired by ARTastic September Challenge, which comes from the painting by Van Gogh's Almond Blossom. The criteria this time is to use a blue background, white flowers and white/brown title. I just love the background paper from SSF.. a tiny bit of blue sky, perfect for these pictures of rainbows we caught in Bondi Beach, Sydney. I use Sketchy Thursdays Sketch 9.8 for this layout.

Some Prima white flowers.. gotta love em!

I also found out I won From Screen to Scrap August challenge and runner up at ARTastic!!! Fantabulous way to start the month! ;)

Thanks for visiting.. I missed reading all your lovely comments :)

PLAY!

Another layout to share today.. This layout is inspired by ARTastic August challenge. This month painting is The Playing Claude Renior by Auguste Renoir. The criteria for the challenge is to include ribbon, a photo of a child or a child playing, and some paint or create your own background. I used Sketchy Thursday Sketch 8.11 for this one....

The splash of paint didn't come out as I like, but splatters are splatters..  you can't control them! It looks like blood! haha.. But I like the contrast against the bright yellow.. and hope you all like it...

Please Mr Sunshine come out again! :) Thanks for visiting!

I Wanna Be....a Starship Ranger..

Hello hello!!! Weekend is almost over :( I really think we need a 3 day weekend instead! Oh well... I wanna share a layout I did yesterday. It is inspired by From Screen 2 Scrap August challenge. The criteria is to use music sheet PP, two tone title and include red and blue in the layout. I use Sketchy Thursdays 8.4 for this layout..

I really <3 this Scrapbook Circle Blast Off kit.. it's absolutely perfect for the challenge. I just love the  tags included in the kit.. The title came from Starkid's Starship musical.. It's good, check it out! :)

A busy week ahead for me.. :| Thanks again for visiting!!!

Step by Step

Ramadhan is here! Salam Ramadhan to my friends and family.. :) May we all have a blessed Ramadhan.. I wanna share another layout I did, another one for Scrap It With A Song. We are going back in time again, this time with NKOTB! Man, I grew up listening to them.. I feel old now.. LOL! It's their best hit I think, Step by Step... very catchy, huh? and scrappable too :)

Love these pics of Zareef.. hubby done very well again.. He took almost 10 pics of Zareef running! :) And I really love this kit from Scrapbook Circle Blast Off.. Full of fun boyish theme stuffs! For this layout, I used Sketchy Thursday Sketch 7.2

First Day

Happy Sunday everyone. I know... I only got a couple of hours left of it though :( I want to share a layout I did this weekend. I did some very simple layouts... too lazy and not much time :))..

The internet is slow as Zareef used up our data quota! Yes, 2 weeks at home and what did he do???? So, sorry if I didn't drop by your blogs as I didn't have the patience to wait for the sites to load! But thankfully, it will reset to normal tomorrow.. yey!!!

I've been meaning to scrap Zareef's first days of school. Now he's already in his third term! He's doing well at school, and just wish he'll continue to enjoy it too. I used Sketchy Thursday Sketch 7.21 for this very simple layout..

Goodbye Sunday.. Hope ya'all have a great week ahead, and thanks for dropping by!

You're Perfect!

A new week is here... I didn't get to so much scrapping this last weekend.. We went to Melbourne Museum on Saturday and had a get-together with friends at our house on Sunday. So, a busy but an enjoyable indeed. Anyway, I managed to whip this one out though..

This layout is inspired by the color PINK, my favorite color! Scrap The Girls July challenge is to scrap a layout based on the album cover of Pink Greatest Hits.. So Far.. :) I am not really a big fan of Pink, but I have to say her songs are catchy :)) We have to use any song title or lyrics in the layouts too. I chose her song F***in Perfect (yeah, it's Pink.. what do you expect? LOL) The lyrics really fits these adorable pictures of Zara, running along the beach of Great Ocean Road.

I also join The Lollipop Ladies Challenge #24 of Cotton Candy/Fairy Floss. Yeah, more pink!!! Additional criteria is to include Fibres in the creation. So, I have some fabric tag and laces (if that counts!). The sketch is from Sketchy Thursdays 7.7 challenge. Love the banner in the sketch.. in this one I used chipboard laundry hanging on a line.. :)

Thank you so much for visiting and dropping lovely comments.. :))

Sweeeeet Dollies

Sunday almost over.. (bummer!) But I had a great day scrapping with Lynda today. We should do it more often yeah, girl! This is one of the layouts I did with her this morning... This one was inspired by These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things challenge, which is to scrap about favorite childhood toys! This is Zara with a few of her fave dolls.. a 'Rosie' and a 'Baby'.. LOL

Also playing along with Scrap The Girls color challenge.. super excited about this one because it's pink and pink and B&W!! :) The layout was also inspired by Butterfly Crafts poster challenge.. The poster is pink and full of dolls.. perfects! I used Sketchy Thursdays great sketch 6.2 for this one.

Still lovin these Crate Papers!

and these Prima flowers.. and bling-blings.. :)

Hope you have a great week ahead.. hope the weather will be as nice as last week!

Beware, HULK is here!!!!

How was your weekend, everyone? Mine was relaxing... the weather turned suddenly, typical of Melbourne, and it was cold to hang out outside for too long. I didn't think I will get lots of scrapping done but I managed to complete 3 layouts nevertheless... so I'm happy :))

The first one I want to share with you all... is this layout of Zareef. I just love this picture of him, so much anger and rage. Bravo to hubby for capturing this moment. This layout is for Sketchy Thursday May GD challenge. I don't expect to win but I really do love the sketch, perfect for this picture. The sketch called for more artsy layout, but I don't have time, tools, and space to make mess! :))

I purposely choose bright green PP as background, just as HULK. Hope I did this picture justice!

I am loving this twine... I think I will use it more and more.. need to stock up as this is the last of it! :)

I painted to cardboard red... as bloody red..

Thanks for visiting... have a good week ahead!
