1st mini of the year ~ Spring Festival

I still have one more reveal up my sleeves..... Introducing my first mini album of the year!! I am certainly glad that I am creating minis again. With tons of pics to scrap, minis are great to capture most of pics in one go!

This simple mini is of our last trip to The Tulip Festival at the Dandenong Ranges last spring. Lots of beautiful pictures of pretty flowers. One downside of mini album is that they are mini, which means less space for anything! It was a pity that I have to chop the pretty flowers out of the pics to make they fit, but nevertheless it turns out fine.

Here is the cover of the album; Spring festival. Using lots of flowers in this one, of course, right? It is an album of spring blooms! I used Bella mini chipboard album, about 3"X3" in size. Yeap, pretty tiny, right? Due to its size, I decided to keep the chipboard as it is, but just misted and stamped over it, and after that added the embellies..

Here is how it is fanned out...

The flip through of the album. I keep the back of the chipboard to mirror the next page, and added no embellies that can distract the main page.

Pages 1-5... My hubby was not really happy that I scrapped his picture in the flower. But I do think he looks cute! :)

Minis are always fun, hope to create more of them, as I surely do have lots of unused chipboard albums ready to be decorated. Have a scrappy day!

Lovey dovey mini album

Here is an album I did for a client for Valentine's Day. I know it's been a month since then, but I didn't get a chance to upload it to the blog. The client wanted a lovey-dovey album, especially made as a gift to her boyfriend. So, I made one pinkish cholocatey chipboard album, using lots of puffy hearts and lovey dovey stickers. She also requested an empty page for this year's valentine pic. I really hope that she likes it, and hope her boyfriend will cherish it forever. They do seems like a cute couple in their pics. :))

All about Zazamazu

It's been a slow week.. I didn't even scrapped last weekend!! feels like my week is incomplete :( Hope I can make it up this weekend. I want to share a tag album I did a few weeks ago. I have tons and tons of family pictures from the studio, so a family mini album is a great way to scrap a whole lot of them. I used bright colors as usual, perfect for all the pictures. If you dont know already, zazamazu is our family name.. hehe.. just combination of the first 2 letters of everyone. Thanks for dropping by!

Baby girl mini album

Here is a simple mini album I did for a friend who just have a cute baby girl. The girl has just the nicest name, Naomi Mary Thomas. Isn't that a lovely name? Hope the mummy likes this album, so she can document cute pictures of Naomi. It is just a simple accordian album I did using a cardstock. I used some of my leftover papers from Zara's mini album. What a great way to de-stash too.. :))

Blondie getting married - my first sale!

A friend of mine requested that I create a mini album as a wedding gift for her friend. Instead of a traditional wedding album, she wanted a friendship album, from a group of close girlfriends to the bride-to-be. I created an accordian album, with chic colors and embellies. I used Making Memories paper collection, and a lot of stamping. They wanted a lot of journaling spaces where they can jot down well wishes. I am glad they like it, and I hope the bride-to-be likes it too. Who says that scrapbooking is only about spending money? We can make some money out of it too.. hehe

Here is some snippet of the album's pages. Chiao!

Yipppieeee!!!!!

I am all excited to know today that my Rafting Trip mini has been chosen as one of the winner for Bind-it-all travel challenge!!! Thanks missbliss for referring me to the Bind-it-all contest, I never expect to win! And thank you also for Teacher Jessy for the lesson and introducing Zutter Bind-it-all to me. As a prize, I will get the Bind-it-All Around the World book. How cool is that? I am sure I will get lots of wonderful inspiration from the book.
