Ironboy

Hello Monday.. Daylight savings is over and it's dark outside even though it's only 7! Yikes, it will only get worse..... Anywhoo, I want to share another layout I did during my scrappy weekend. This time is inspired by April Groovie Cover. I am inspired by the red and blue colors in the cover and the red sidebar, although my blue is a bit pale compared to the cover.

The layout is based on Sketchy Thursdays 3.31, just perfect for this picture. Guess who is this? Of course it's my Zareef with his brand new IronMan mask, thanks to Uncle Suhayl. We even put on an artificial heart for more effect :)))

Love this Basic Grey Wander collection.. The colors are gorgeous and the stickers are perfect for my boy.. added some buttons for more effects

Love this Kaiserkraft robot PP.. had this for a long time.. and been reusing it again and again.. :))

Thanks for visiting!

Can't wait to be your best friend!

Happy weekend everyone!! Here is a layout fresh from the oven! This layout is inspired by Scrap The Girls Sex & The City poster challenge. I am inspired by the colors and the friendship theme. Also, These Are a Few of My Favorite Things are scrapping about favorite friends! What is more precious than having a daughter as your best friend? :) Thus, I scrapped this lovely picture of Zara in the studio. The sketch for this layout is from Twisted Sketches #39, with a fabric twist this time. TFL!!

Oh, I forgot to include this. It is a pleasant surprise to know that this layout won Groovie Cover February challenge! :))

Field Trip

Hello everyone! Here is a layout I did last week.. based on this gorgeous sketch by Sketchabilities (January 30th). The background paper is just marvelous on its own, so I kept this layout simple. I layer up Prima packaging boards and added some chipboard stickers. The Prima packaging are great, aren't they?

This layout is also inspired by February Groovie Cover. I am inspired by the stampings on the cover, just like my paper here! This picture is from my field trip late last year, where I edited it to look like oldies picture. We sure look like lost gardeners on a hill... hehe :D

Queen of our hearts

Another day, another layout. Here is one of our little princess, sweetly posing for the camera. Yeah, she knows how to pose at the camera now :) I wanted to create a purple layout to match our outfits and added some greens into the layout so that it will not be overload with purple! I think it is a nice combination. Here the layout is based on Sketchabilities Oct 15 Sketch. Love all the layering of papers in the sketch! I used mostly papers from Kaiserkraft.. love all the purple! TFL!

And I just found out that this layout won the Groovie Cover January challenge.. YEY!!

Free spirit

Here is a layout I did last weekend. I love the sketch from Pencil Lines #170 and decided to play with it. I am also inspired by January challenge from Groovie Cover. This black frame that I had came to mind when I saw the cover. So I made the frame and the picture the focus of the layout, and the sketch is just perfect for this! This picture of Zara jumping in the studio is just marvelous! I am really glad Amru captured the moments well.

I am experimenting with Glimmer Mists now, and for this one I stepped out from my comfort zone and tried a bolder color. I love how it turned out! I cut out the flowers from SSF Marmalade paper and layer them up around the frame. I just love these metallic butterflies I bought from wedding hantaran store, and they are super duper cheap too!!!
