Share the LOVE

Hello my beautiful readers... Hope everyone is doing great! Here in Melbourne is all storm and rain and wet.. But other than that, it had been a great week. And GLEE is back with a bang! I can feel that Season 3 is gonna be totally awesome! So I am happy :)

I am honored to join Polkadot Door Design blog hop again. So, if you are from Polkadot, a big WELCOME! This month we are inspired by this cute and colorful poster...
Here is what I created... the layout is also inspired by Bird is the Word "Share" challenge. The poster reminds me my my two kids and how they share something priceless.. that they are really lucky to have each other to share their lives with.. OK enough of my ramblings..

The Nook kit is perfect for this layout as the colors are cheerful and bright.. I used Creative Scrappers Sketch #174 for this layout.. Hope you enjoy it and don't forget to join the Blog Hop at Polka Dot!!!

So here's the blog hop list again...

Thanks again for visiting.. until next time.. Keep Calm and Gleek On! :)

Topsy Turvy

Happy Spring everyone! Well at least everyone in southern hemisphere :) We enjoyed another gorgeous, warm blue sky day in Melbourne. We spent most of the day in Royal Botanic Garden.. oh what a beautiful garden!

I have been slacking off again.. my scrapping corner has been abandoned for a while... last weekend we had lots of Raya/Eid parties, so most of the weekend spent eating and eating and enjoying companies of friends :) Plus the weather is getting nicer so we can't resist going out and wander around.. At least this weekend I managed to complete a couple of layouts..

This one is inspired by Challenge Me Happy #7 "BOM" Book Of Me challenge.. It's time to scrap about something fun/funny about ourselves! It took me a while to think of something fun/funny about myself. I don't label myself funny at all.. So when I did this layout I don't have a title in mind..

I got my hubby and my son  to help suggest a title and they seems to have A LOT to say about me, especially my son. Some of them are really funny like "Mama, you're bossy... " or my husband said I am a "Teenager in Disguise".. What is that supposed to mean? hahahah..

But none of it seems to match the flowery design of my layout.. Haha, should have create something 'funny' instead, huh? But anyway, I came up with Topsy-Turvy, which means chaotic or just big jumble of mess.. haha.. If you know me REALLY well, that's what I am. My husband can attest to this!

The sketch comes from Once Upon A Sketch challenge.. the journaling criteria is to journal at least 2 lines directly on the photos.. So I put a journaling label on the photo.

Thanks for visiting dearies.. :)

Spring Awakening

Today's layout is for the gorgeous spring weather we have today... to celebrate spring! Another layout of a picture without people... spring flowers! I was inspired by Get Picky August Inspiration, in celebration of Daffodil Day, which is cancer awareness day here in Australia. An excellent way to celebrate spring, right?

I know that I have to scrap this picture of wild flowers my hubby took near the Otways region. I love the papers from BG Curio collection. I like how this simple layout turned out, and love how the yellow frame makes the picture really pops :) I used Sketchabilities Sketch #54 for this layout.

Don't you just love yellow and green together? Fresh and very spring-like! :)

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Hellooooooooooo Everyone! It seems like ages since I blogged and literally, scrapped! We were occupied with Eid Mubarak preparations and celebration. Plus, my brothers were here all the way from Malaysia, so spent weekends travelling around Victoria. Oh I missed scrapping.. and this weekend is nothing but staying at home and scrap... :)

So here is my layout to share.. It's inspired by ARTastic September Challenge, which comes from the painting by Van Gogh's Almond Blossom. The criteria this time is to use a blue background, white flowers and white/brown title. I just love the background paper from SSF.. a tiny bit of blue sky, perfect for these pictures of rainbows we caught in Bondi Beach, Sydney. I use Sketchy Thursdays Sketch 9.8 for this layout.

Some Prima white flowers.. gotta love em!

I also found out I won From Screen to Scrap August challenge and runner up at ARTastic!!! Fantabulous way to start the month! ;)

Thanks for visiting.. I missed reading all your lovely comments :)
