Hello everyone.. I had a fantastic time at Zhumba today.. The instructor barely stopped and we danced to 14 songs today! It was a great workout and I can still feel my body burning now, almost 2 hours after! Now I am ready to doze off... But before that, let me share another layout...

A simple layout of my kids again.. I made it for a challenge but didn't realized it was closed already. I really love this Nook Oct kit!! Rich elegant colors; black, white and gold.. It's totally different for sure.. :) I used Creative Scrappers Sketch #180 for this layout..

OK - off to slumberland now..

6 years old already?

Hello hello! I think I left my mojo back in USA as it was really hard for me to scrap anything today.. it just won't flow! I managed to finish this layout, which I started right before my Houston trip. I rarely ever not finish a layout in one sitting, but I couldn't care less at the time as I was all ready for Houston :) (and all the other adventures.. hehe) Even adding a title and journaling is hard for me to do today.. Oh well, mojo.. come back to me!

But here is the layout.. I feel this layout is not right somehow but I don't know what.. These are some photos from Zareef's 6th birthday party at McD Chadstone. OMG, I still can't believe he's 6yo!!! Where did all the time goes???

Tomorrow's Monday.. bummer... Hope ya'all have a great one..

To Have a HOME...

I am finally home, guys!!! After an adventurous trip to the land of US of A, I am finally home. I was one of the unlucky ones who got stranded in LA, thanks to Qantas. We are merely minutes away from takeoff, all passenger settled in, when the announcement was made to ground all flights and we had to disembark the plane. It was about 2am when we got ourselves a hotel room!! Not so happy with Alan Joyce, such a disgrace!!!

I spent 2 nights in LA before I managed to get myself a ticket home through Korea Air instead. It was a 24 hours flight, where it should only be 14 hours with Qantas. So yeah, I am still recovering from that long journey. One upside is that I managed to see more of the glamorous LA.. It was fun, and if I stay longer, I might like the city :) The weather was perfect too.

It seems fitting then to reveal this layout I did almost a month ago. I am honored to be chosen as From Screen 2 Scrap Movie Extra for November. The movie this month is "Home for the Holidays" and the criteria is to journal with a white pen, use HOME in the title and use a photo of a family gathering. So I scrap this photo of us during last Eid celebration. Love this quote from a musical I know, this must be how it feels to have a home. Yup, so glad I am HOME!

Oh man, back to office tomorrow. It feels like I was on a 3 weeks holiday! A shopping spree holiday it was! haha.. Anyway, glad to be back and hope to scrap more soon :)
