Reach for the sky

Hello everyone! Another hiatus for me :( I've been swarmed with activities over the weekends that I don't have much time for scrapping :((((

Anyway, here is a layout I managed to whip on Sunday. It's a very simple one, inspired by Bird is the Word "Reach" challenge. I joined Once Upon a Sketch season theme sketch for this one too. Here are pictures from our last NZ trip. Hubby super duper excited to see "Mount Doom" of LOTR.

I also link in Challenge Me Happy recipe challenge. Hope I don't miss anything from their long list of things! I am inspired also by Lawnscaping Challenge photo inspiration but I missed the deadline (big time!) but it is a nice picture.

Did you spy the origami? :) Thanks for visiting!! Even if I only update once in a while :)

Happy Birthday

Weekend was a blast. We enjoyed Moonshadow the musical, although the story doesn't makes sense! Cat Stevens music are really good though.

We had another birthday party today, this time it's Zara's best mate. We are close to the parents too, we stayed over to enjoy some BBQ lunch :) Too bad tomorrow is Monday, boohoo!! Anyway, here's a simple card I made for Zara's friend. I used Delightful Inspiration July card sketch for the card.

Let's hope for a good Monday tomorrow.. Thanks for visiting!

Freedom

Weekend is here! Yeay!! Looking forward to watch a musical tomorrow :) I did this layout yesterday when I was baby-sitting sick Zareef for another day. It is inspired by Scrapping the Music "Freedom" challenge. I used some of the lyrics as the journaling, it is quite inspiring and kind of my words to Zara.

I also joined ScrapFIT Step Class #6 "The Negative Zone" challenge. I stamped out a couple of butterfly in the papers to get some negative zone effect. It wasn't that easy as if you messed up, there's no second chance! But it is a great way to use punchers, will keep this technique in mind for future :) I used Sketchabilities Sketch #74 for this layout. I strayed away from layering and keep it clean and simple for once :)

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting!

Infinity & Beyond

Tummy bug, tummy bug.. go away! It's round two in da house, rounding back to Zareef :( Hope it stops with him now... (or I'll be next?!!) So, I stayed home to take care of him today. What else to do other than scrapping, right?

I did this layout inspired by Once Upon A Sketch "Friends" theme sketch. I scrapped this picture of hubby and our close friends having a blast in Gold Coast.

I joined Bird Is The Word "Beyond" challenge. I don't know why but Infinity & Beyond comes to mind (I am a Disney's fan after all) and it kinda fits the picture. I am also joining ScrapFIT long title challenge. I am not sure if my title is considered long, but oh well just for sharing anyway :)

Love how the scrunched layers looked :) Did you spy the hidden journaling? This is my first time doing hidden journaling... It's kind of cool when I don't want to "mess" the space with my messy handwriting LOL

Thanks for visiting!!
