To Have a HOME...

I am finally home, guys!!! After an adventurous trip to the land of US of A, I am finally home. I was one of the unlucky ones who got stranded in LA, thanks to Qantas. We are merely minutes away from takeoff, all passenger settled in, when the announcement was made to ground all flights and we had to disembark the plane. It was about 2am when we got ourselves a hotel room!! Not so happy with Alan Joyce, such a disgrace!!!

I spent 2 nights in LA before I managed to get myself a ticket home through Korea Air instead. It was a 24 hours flight, where it should only be 14 hours with Qantas. So yeah, I am still recovering from that long journey. One upside is that I managed to see more of the glamorous LA.. It was fun, and if I stay longer, I might like the city :) The weather was perfect too.

It seems fitting then to reveal this layout I did almost a month ago. I am honored to be chosen as From Screen 2 Scrap Movie Extra for November. The movie this month is "Home for the Holidays" and the criteria is to journal with a white pen, use HOME in the title and use a photo of a family gathering. So I scrap this photo of us during last Eid celebration. Love this quote from a musical I know, this must be how it feels to have a home. Yup, so glad I am HOME!

Oh man, back to office tomorrow. It feels like I was on a 3 weeks holiday! A shopping spree holiday it was! haha.. Anyway, glad to be back and hope to scrap more soon :)
