Good Wednesday everyone! Here is another layout inspired by Pencil Lines Sketch #151 by Scrapperlicious Irene Tan. For this layout, I decided to scrap my beloved hubby, which is regretfully the first one! I am not used of making 'manly' layouts, but these papers from Kaiserkraft is perfect this occasion. I think the page turned out quite 'macho' indeed, like my hero :0 hehehe..

Blondie getting married - my first sale!
A friend of mine requested that I create a mini album as a wedding gift for her friend. Instead of a traditional wedding album, she wanted a friendship album, from a group of close girlfriends to the bride-to-be. I created an accordian album, with chic colors and embellies. I used Making Memories paper collection, and a lot of stamping. They wanted a lot of journaling spaces where they can jot down well wishes. I am glad they like it, and I hope the bride-to-be likes it too. Who says that scrapbooking is only about spending money? We can make some money out of it too.. hehe
Here is some snippet of the album's pages. Chiao!

Bunny chase
One thing great about stay-cation (stay at home vacation as one of my friend called it) is I got to scrap every day! Now I am creating a layout a day. Here is another layout inspired by Creative Scrappers Sketch #69. It is of a picture of Zara chasing after rabbits at Sunway Lagoon. She just love them.. and I just got to have the small animals to accompany her. It reminds me of Snow White, of how the animals came to her whenever she sings.. hehe..
Have a nice Sunday! Tomorrow the city will return to normal (traffic jam again).. but I will still be on leave.. hooray!

Sunshine of mine
Hi everyone! Here is another layout I did last night.. I am enjoying my 2 weeks holiday, because I can scrap every night!! Why so long of a holiday? Well, my maid went home for Raya, so I am temporarily a full-time-stay-at-home-mom. It is not as bad as I thought, and once I got past the housework and the tiredness, it is really rewarding to take care and spend time (a LOT of time) with your kids.
Here is my take..
This layout if for Are You Feeling Groovie September challenge. This challenge prompt us to scrap pictures that are at least 3 years old, like Aniza's layout of her son's first day. I also want to do the same, so I scrap this fresh-from-the-oven picture of Zareef. Plus, we have to inlude at least 3 chipboards. I got to use some chipboard stickers that are one of my first purchase many many months ago. This layout is inspired by Pencil Line Sketch #153. The simple sketch is perfect for the relatively busy background.

Flaunt your slippers
Had a nice Raya so far, everyone? We had fun meeting relatives and eating all the Raya food. Plus, a bout of diarrhea for everyone in the family!! I am feeling a bit weak now, but I will recover. Here is a layout I did, fitting for Raya fiesta. This picture was taken during Raya 2 years ago, when I was pregnant with Zara. It was kind of funny, me and my mom and aunts flaunting our selipar jepuns while all dressed up for Raya. Can you recognize which one is my feet? :))
This layout is made for Scrap the Girls September challenge. This time it's the shoe challenge! We have to scrap something about girls and shoes, and try to use this picture below as inspiration; may it be the colors, textures, embellishments, etc. And for this layout, it is inspired by Ed's Sketch. It's a nice simple sketch, perfect for this lovely lovely Que Sera paper from K&Co.

I would like to wish everyone a blessed Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Eid Mubarak!! I seek forgiveness for any wrongdoings on my part. For those who are travelling to their kampungs, please drive carefully. Have a joyous and happy holiday!!
Here is a sneak peak of a mini I just completed, which was made on behalf of a friend. I will reveal it after Raya! Hopefully, I can get some Scrapperocks action even during the festivities.. :)

Just the two of US
This layout is kind of special to me as it marks my 50th layout since I started last January! When I looked back at my crude and very simple initial layouts, my style has changed a lot, and I guessed that it will continue to evolve as I scrap more.
This layout is inspired by a few challenges (hope that's OK.. ). First is the Scrap, Create & Inspire Pick & Mix challenge for September. We have to choose a theme, and pick one item from each DT's list of things to include in the layout. For this one, I chose a circle theme, with distressed ink, ribbons, laces, and butterflies to include into my layout.
Again, this layout is inspired by Creative Scrappers Sketch #68, which coincidently has a circle element in it.. here is the sketch by Kristine.

The colors and the 'feel' of the layout is inspired by Basic Grey poster challenge. We have to let our imagination run wild and scrap something out of this photo. I think it is a lovely photo, with a fresh and lively feel to it. That is what I want to convey in my layout.. Oh, and of course, we have to include something from Basic Grey in it too. I used Lime Rickey papers as the background and underlying green & yellow paper beneath the circle.

A Happy me
To celebrate September, the best month of the year, the month of my birthday, I decided to make a layout of me! Well, a toddler version of me. I just looked so happy, don't you think? This layout is inspired by Creative Scrapper Sketch #67 and I used this lovely lovely Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday collection. I made the flowers myself by combining several distressed circles by brads. Now I get why die cut machines are so so useful. You can custom made your own embellishments; any colors, any shape, anything to fit in your layout!
Have a nice day, everyone!

Mechana party
This September, Scrap the Boys challenge us to make layout of our boy's birthday. It has to be multi-photo and have to include some journaling of the party details to document the precious memories. I already did a mini of Zareef's 4th birthday but another layout to capture the day won't hurt. I use these lovely Kaiserkraft robot papers, which fits the birthday theme of Animal Mechanicals cartoon, hence the title Mechana Party (but we had Ben10 cake since there's no readily available Mechana cake). Zareef used to love them a lot, but now he's into Transformers, which fits with the robots too. He even called the red robot Optimus Prime.. :)
The layout is again inspired by Twisted Sketch #13. Love their sketch! The twist this time is to use any type of tape. For this layout, I used the backing of the double sided tape (the one we threw away) and stapled them into ribbons, and added a button in the centre.

Hi Cutie
I did this layout for Candy Shoppe Design Striptease challenge. CSD has a point system where you will earn a point to enter the monthly blog candy draw. There are a lots of rules for this challenge; we have to use strips of paper (that's why it's called striptease challenge.. not the other stripping.. hehe), and use the color palette below, but with cream being the dominant color. Extra point if we use the sketch provided too. Plus, we need to add some touch of gold too. That's a long list, right? But very interesting challenge nonetheless.
Here is my interpretation.. I scrapped this cute photo of Zara, playing during a friendly soccer games at TNB Klang. I don't have any cream papers, but I used a silver one instead. I'm glad that I managed to use these pretty and bright colored stickers.
